"When I accepted Hot Springs Health and Fitness’s “Dare to Be Lean”
Challenge, I had never been to a fitness club. My Body Mass Index was
unhealthy and blood pressure was too high. After six weeks of fun,
intense workouts, my BMI dropped two points and blood pressure fell
into normal range. I lost 10 pounds and a total of 9.75 inches. I
Zumba’ed, cycled, sculpted, yoga’ed, and walked up two mountains. The
biggest mountain to overcome, though, was myself: I climbed out of a
rut and got moving again. Thanks, HSHF, for showing me how to focus on
my health – my family has a happier, healthier Mom!"
