CHERYL KIRKSEY
Cheryl Kirksey, Director of Group Fitness with HSHF since 2005, is certified with Fitour as a Personal Trainer, AFAA as a Group Fitness Instructor, Les Mills BODYPUMP Certified and holds a B.S.E. in Business Education from H.S.U.Cheryl has trained in the fitness industry since 1990 and is very passionate about fitness and nutrition for total body well-being. She is able to transform the entire body from the inside out and help women feel and look their BEST no matter the age.

ERIC WEGNER
Eric is dedicated to the success of you personal health goal, you will see him all over Hot Springs Health and Fitness, working with the weight management program, teaching spin classes, and personal training.

He majored in fitness/wellness and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wellness Science from Arkansas Tech University. He experienced in goal setting, teaching healthy eating, and motivating you to succeed and accomplish you desired goals. Eric has worked with clients from the ages of 8 to 80, and he has worked with a huge range of clients anywhere from post-rehab to athletes to weight loss to gaining size or general fitness.

"I am always taking new clients" Eric says, and he would love the opportunity to work with you.

JULIE BURROUGHS
I have taught wellness/fitness classes for over 20 years. I enjoy working with individuals and groups of people to attain their fitness goals. Some of my specializations include fitness/wellness coaching, flexibility training, speed/agility training, sports conditioning, strength training, toning and overall general fitness.

MICHAEL VANO

Retired from the Veteran’s Administration Hospital with 39.5 years of service, having worked in Rehabilitative Medicine and Kinesiology. Served in the U.S. Navy and Army for 39 years. With a background in rehab therapy he pursued the fitness therapy certification, giving him more insight in the arena of rehabilitation and therapy in the hospital and gym setting. Mike has always been a proponent of solid, healthy nutrition, inspiring his next certification, Specialist in Fitness Nutrition. Vano enjoys the opportunity to apply his knowledge of fitness inside and outside of a gym setting. Mike Vano has re-invented himself as an ISSA Elite Trainer at the age of 65 and continues pursuit of his passion in fitness to better himself and help others.

SUSAN HEATH
Susan Heath, director of Hot Springs Pilates Studio, is a certified Pilates trainer with 12 years of experience teaching the Pilates Method. Susan holds 2 Pilates certifications. She achieved her first through Physicalmind in 2001 and her second in 2010 through Centerworks Pilates Institute, a classical program honoring the work of Joseph Pilates. This 700 hour program included an in depth study of anatomy and physiology, observation, testing and apprenticeship. Susan has been featured in 2 Pilates DVDs, co-authored a set of training manuals and presented at the Pilates Expo in 2003. Susan also holds a BFA in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University and toured nationally and internationally with several contemporary dance companies.

RICHARD SUEZAKI
Richard has been in the fitness industry since 2013 as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, he trained at Hot Springs Health and Fitness Club doing individual and group sessions, as well as conducting group fitness classes. Richard is extremely passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals through safe and sound fitness protocols. He holds his CSCS certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.He has worked with all age groups and populations ranging from 8-90 years of age. Richard is currently finishing up a double master’s degree in occupational therapy and kinesiology with an emphasis in orthopedic rehab and sports conditioning.

CAROLYN CROW
From childhood, basketball was CC's passion. Playing on the women's basketball team in high school and being named all-district and all-state for three consecutive years gave her the confidence she needed to succeed. Senior year she played on the high school all-star team, and was later inducted in the Go-Devil Basketball Hall of Fame.

"Becoming a great athlete didn’t come easy; I had to first believe in myself. If you are ready to adopt a lifestyle of physical and mental well being, I want to help you succeed, I want to be a part of transforming you into a new you.

Today CC still enjoys playing basketball, along with jogging and working out in HIIT classes. She has the power inside that fuels her passion for health and fitness. YOU are her mission!

SARA MEADOWS
Sarah started out as a massage therapist with a interest in body mechanics and functional movement. She established herself as a AFAA fitness instructor in April of 2011. In May of 2014 she became Les Mills RPM certified and finally ending 2014 with her AFAA personal trainer certification. She has also served two years as committe chairman for the Spa Pacers 5k/10k in AR.

Sarah combines functional and traditional methods of working the body. Her personal training style includes a combination of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning and sports specific drills.

RONNIE MCGUIRE
Ronnie is a humble and hardworking Arkansas native from Jessieville. He has been lifting since 2008, at the age of 14, when he fell in love with fitness. Ronnie is CPR Certified and ACE Certified. For his next endeavor, Ronnie would like to compete in a NPC Show. Ronnie is heavily involved in 30FIT and teaches two group full body workouts weekly which is perfect for him as he loves the flow of a group workout. His track record shows great leadership in areas of motivation, knowledge and working with all ranges of athletes. Ronnie loves to workout with hard workers who have the desire for results.
